Great article. One thing I’d like to add is a request to Christians, please stop posting stuff like “all lives matter“ and “Jesus lives matter.” I know you mean well, but such posts display your profound ignorance of and insensitivity to the feelings of POC, protesters or not. I cringe when I see those posts, knowing they are making things worse by reinforcing the image so many have of uncaring, arrogant whites.
Pray for our leaders, pray for our nation, and look for ways to show respect and kindness to people who are different than you in your community.
Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.
